Whether wielding a hammer, analyzing our accounts, or working directly with you, our clients, our team is made up of passionate people! From avid fishermen, sport aficionados, to plant enthusiasts, we appreciate the unique strengths (and personalities) each brings to the table. We’re more than a team, we’re a family!
Our Office Staff
Kerwin Mast
Owner / Visionary
Kerwin Mast is the owner of Mast Roofing & Construction, Inc. He was born and raised in the Oley Valley and being the son of a farmer, he knows full well what hard work looks like. As a boy, he helped around the farm and worked for neighboring farmers. After high school, he went to Penn State and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. His remarkable work ethic and attention to detail make him well-suited to be a business owner. He supports the company with his extensive industry knowledge and leads the way for our team.
He enjoys flying, volleyball, hunting, and bee-keeping. He and his wife, Corrie, live in Berks County and have three children.
Ron Mossie
General Manager
Ron joined the Mast Roofing and Construction, Inc. team in late 2020. He grew up in Oaks and Boyertown, PA, graduating from Boyertown High School. He has a Business Management degree from Kutztown University and since then gained 15 years of management experience, including owning his own business. Here at Mast Roofing and Construction, Inc. he serves as General Manager, making sure all our clients have a fantastic experience from the first call until the final inspection.
He is married to his wife Ashley and the father of four daughters. When not working, he enjoys reading, serving at his church, and running/working out.
Aaron Christ
VP of Operations
Aaron joined our team in July 2024 as the Vice President (VP) of Operations, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to excellence. A graduate of Pottsgrove High School, he is known for his empathetic, persistent, and pragmatic approach to leadership. Professionally, he is trained in Sandler Sales, Ramsey EntreLeadership, and Six Sigma, equipping him to drive results and optimize operations.
Beyond his professional skills, Aaron brings a rich set of personal talents, including drumming, photography, and guitar. He has a passion for coaching youth sports – primarily basketball. When he’s not working, Aaron enjoys bow hunting, carpentry, and playing music.
Ashley Mossie
Office Manager
Ashley is the Office Manager here at Mast Roofing & Construction. From taking care of all things HR, to reconciling financial statements, and everything in between, she makes sure the office runs smoothly. Ashley grew up in Oley and graduated from Oley HS. She holds a Business Management Degree from Kutztown University and has 14 years of banking and finance experience.
When not keeping a million numbers straight here at the office, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband Ron and 4 daughters.
Corrie Mast
Chief Financial Officer
Over the years, Corrie has worn many hats at Mast Roofing & Construction, which is often the case for the wife of the owner! For the first seven years, she was the only one in the office, but as the company – and their family – grew, many of her responsibilities were delegated and she now works at Mast part-time.
She enjoys cooking, hiking, water-skiing, target shooting and spending time with family.
Kerri Fisher
Lead Client Care Representative
From the first call to the completion of a job, Kerri is there to ensure that the entire process goes smoothly. She joined the Mast team as a Client Care Representative (CCR) in early 2018. She grew up in a military family – born in North Carolina, but lived all over the East Coast in her early years. She has been in the customer service/administrative field for her entire professional career and it shows! She has a genuine concern for client needs and has an uncanny ability to connect with people over the phone.
When Kerri’s not manning the phones, she enjoys camping, fishing, snowmobiling, going to the beach, and spending time with her boys.
Kristin Keylor
Administrative Assistant
Kristin supports our team as an Administrative Assistant, which means she wears a lot of hats in the office – she answers the phone, schedules and confirms appointments with clients, does data entry, and social media management just to name a few of her tasks. She is a 2021 graduate of Berks Christian School and grew up in Reading, PA.
She loves to play volleyball and paint in her spare time, and is pursuing art & design as a passion.
Tyler Heist
IT Systems Integrator
Tyler can best be described as a “wonder-wizard” of all things technological! Working with automating processes to make the company run smoothly, and giving a helping hand with all of the IT equipment, as well as ensuring the client experience is satisfactory– Tyler gives his all in making sure Mast is up to snuff!
Tyler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, with a concentration in Software Engineering from Southern New Hampshire University. His hobbies include hiking, reading, and, of course… programming! He also has a special passion for Cybersecurity Technologies!
Fahim Kashem
IT Systems Integrator
Fahim joined our team in March of 2024. He grew up in Breinigsville, PA and graduated from Parkland High School. After high school, Fahim went to Penn State University to study Information Science & Technology and gained exposure to a wide range of technologies.
In his spare time, Fahim enjoys sports, video games, and watching TV shows/movies. He’s also quite passionate about game development and will occasionally work on creating games to boost his portfolio.
Our Field Staff
Jason Konnick
Sr. Repair Technician / Quality Control Manager
Jason is a very versatile member of our team – he’s able to get things done wherever he is needed. From leading crews, running repair calls, performing quality control inspections, advising clients about replacements, and overseeing in-house training, Jason can do it all. He came to Mast Roofing & Construction in 2015 with 16 years of experience in the roofing industry. He grew up in Perkiomenville and graduated from Boyertown Senior High School. Jason has extensive training with copper, managing roofing crews, and being an all-around team player.
Jason and his wife Karen have a daughter named Hope. He enjoys spending time with his family, going to Phillies games, and going on shopping trips with Hope.
Seth Mast
Repair Technician
Seth grew up around the business and has been involved in it for most of his life. He helped to shingle his first roof at age 13 at his grandparent’s house, and over the years, did the mowing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance at the shop. More recently, he has gained a lot of experience as he served on the field crew and is currently a Repair Technician. Our clients are in good hands with Seth – he works hard to ensure they get the solutions they need for their home.
When he’s not inspecting people’s roofs, he enjoys golfing, hunting, water skiing, and cooking.
Chris Lucas
Roofing Specialist
Chris joined our team in September of 2019, already having 5 years of roofing experience. He is one of our Roofing Specialists, which means he can take a look at your roof, diagnose the problem, and present you with a plan to fix it. Chris grew up in Massachusetts, so watch out for that fabulous accent if you get a chance to meet him!
When he’s not coming to a homeowner’s rescue, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, and most all other sports.
Erich Nettles
Roofing Specialist
Erich joined our team in 2023 having over 20 years of experience in the exterior remodeling industry. With his wealth of knowledge, he serves our clients well as he specs out their new roofing system or exterior remodel. He tackles problems head-on, and is a go-getter in all regards.
He has a passion for health and personal fitness, so when he’s not on a roof or spending time with his wife and 2 sons, he can be found pumping iron at the gym.
Shane Petersheim
Senior Foreman / Warehouse Manager
Shane has been with us at Mast Roofing & Construction for a number of years – at first on and off between semesters at school, and then full-time in 2012 as one of our Roofing Foremen. He is responsible for making sure your roof is installed exactly how you want it, from tear-off to clean-up. Shane graduated from Conestoga Christian School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Geneva College.
In his free time, he likes to hunt, golf, play volleyball, and is a member of a hunting cabin in western PA.
Tom Laub
Jobsite Supervisor
Tom joined the Mast Roofing Team in May of 2021. He is a vital member of our installation crew who started out as a Skilled Laborer, but quickly moved up to a Jobsite Supervisor position. He works hard out in the elements every day to make sure that your family is covered with a quality roofing system!
He used to wrestle in high school and enjoys fishing in his spare time.
Patrick Lance
Jobsite Supervisor
Patrick joined our team in 2021 as part of our Field Crew, then moved up to a Jobsite Supervisor position. He grew up in Gilbertsville and graduated from Boyertown HS. While in college at Cleveland State University, he was a Division 1 swimmer and graduated with a major in Criminology and minors in both Sociology and Communications.
He is a avid fan of fishing and enjoys TRYING to play golf. One more fun fact: he is the BIGGEST Browns fan in the state of PA!
David Phillips
Jobsite Supervisor
David joined the Mast Roofing team in April 2024 as a Jobsite Supervisor. He maintains a balanced environment on the job site, allowing our team to complete any project effectively. David grew up in Philipsburg, PA and graduated from Osceola Senior High School.
In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and sports.
Tom Lesher
Jobsite Supervisor
Tom joined the Mast Roofing team in 2023 as a Jobsite Supervisor. He grew up in Warwick, PA and went to Center for Arts & Technology – Pickering Campus. Tom has training in OSHA, GAF, and CertainTeed Siding, and is very skilled in framing and remodeling!
In his spare time, Tom enjoys motocross, mountain biking, and spending time with family.
Zach Anderson
Field Crew
Zach became a part of our team in July 2024. Raised in Denver, PA, and a graduate of Cocalico High School, he is no stranger to hard work and commitment. His time in the Marine Corps instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and teamwork that he applies to every project. Zach is certified as an advanced deep-water scuba diver, holds a boating captain’s license, and a Class A CDL.
Outside of work, he stays active by working out, fishing, and playing lacrosse.
Ethan Horn
Field Crew
Ethan grew up in Boyertown, PA, where he has lived his entire life. He joined Mast Roofing in February 2024, starting as a Shop Assistant, where he helped maintain the warehouse and pick up materials. Over time, Ethan transitioned to a Field Crew position, bringing with him specialized carpentry training that adds valuable skills to his role on the team.
When he’s not working, Ethan enjoys snowboarding, fishing, and hunting.
Hayden Grice
Field Crew
Hayden joined our team in July 2024, bringing a great work ethic and a passion for delivering top-notch service. Growing up in Telford, PA, he graduated from Souderton Area High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Alvernia University.
Outside of work, Hayden enjoys fishing, golfing, and exploring the great outdoors.
Dylan Kopf
Field Crew
Dylan joined the Mast Roofing team in August 2024. A graduate of Exeter Senior High School, he also attended Berks Career and Technology Center, where he honed his skills. Dylan was raised in the Exeter, PA area and brings a unique set of talents to the team, including specialized training in making fishing lures.
When he’s not working, Dylan enjoys fishing and working on his project jeep. Above all, he loves spending time with his daughter.
Trey Wamsher
Shop Assistant
Trey is one of our Shop Assistants – currently a Junior at Oley Valley High School! He helps clean the shop and manage the grounds here, as well as helps with other tasks. He is also attending tech school in order to learn the trades – plumbing specifically.
In his spare time, Trey plays lacrosse and football, and is passionate about weightlifting! When he’s in “rest mode”, he enjoys playing video games.
Joel Steinmetz
Shop Assistant
Joel joined the Mast Roofing team in June 2024 and has been a great addition to the shop. Born and raised in Exeter Township, he’s currently a student at Exeter High School. Alongside his studies, he’s enrolled in the carpentry program at Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC), where he’s gaining hands-on experience in framing and roofing.
When he’s not working or studying, Joel enjoys skiing, fishing, and hunting. He’s also passionate about working on his Jeep.
Joel Mast
Shop Assistant
Joel grew up in Oley, PA, and he will be attending Berks Career & Technology Center for Heavy Machine Operation. He’s been helping around the building for years by mowing/weed-whacking and making sure our lot is clear of snow during the winter. Joel now serves as one of our Shop Assistants and helps keep our shop organized!
Outside of work, Joel enjoys riding dirt bikes, hunting, and fishing.
